Discussion: sorry about the rear d

soo frustrating, I imagine! I was very excited to see you comfortably on schedule when I'd checked earlier.

One wonders what the outcome would have been if the Jeep Club would not have left early from their stations of re-routing riders like they were supposed to. We were re-routed correctly and although in the middle of the rain for 40 miles, we didn't encounter the super muddy conditions which ultimately ended your race :(

I guess the water crossing was deemed to be safer by the time we got there. But I wonder how high it had been in the morning? We crossed bigger water courses last year without incident.
