Sorry. Goose Island is now owned and controlled by Anheuser-Busch/InBev, the largest brewer in the world. And they are at war with small craft brewers, and determined to regain lost market share...and put the small artisans out of business. I was a great fan of Goose Island...back in the '80s, when they were cutting-edge and independent. But they don't make those quality beers any more. Just the mass-produced beers for which AB/InBev is BudLite.

The next day Josiah and I went to the Old Town Art Fair...and guess what? All they had at the beer booths was AB/InBev products again! See the logo in the upper left corner?

And that stuff is just not as tasty, enjoyable or unique as the products produced by our dozens of local, independent craft brewers. But with the beer distributors controlling the market, when does the public get a chance to try them?
