What are your plans for the race this year?
Scrapped it due to missing training a couple of weeks ago. I was behind the 8-ball anyway.
I tweaked inside of my right knee...figure it would go away running...it did not hurt...it did go away but then came back by end of run. Weird sore without hurting...ice and heat for now. I have been walking Friday anyway...may have to walk a few more days...I put in about 4-6 weeks of good training and at the end I slowed down about 30 seconds a mile...long runs and track work did absolutely nothing to help me run faster...and there was no feeling that a few more weeks and suddenly I would be going faster.
I just need to be content with being fit. I like my long Sunday runs...hope I can go at least 7 this week (it is really warmed up past week so have to cut back or I'll crash) but I may be walking several days...who knows anymore.
