Never write yourself off in navigation sports. Look What Happened!

We wrote ourselves off at the rogaine on the weekend but somehow magically scraped home.

Were two people on your course given the wrong maps? They have collected the same five controls including the finish and that's it (recorded as DNF).

Ta. its possible they got Course 8 maps, that is the only one with a similar sequence.

What was up with #16 on your sprint course? Looks like all three people who've drawn routes on RG on your course have gone to run down the side of the building then run back out and gone around the olive green but it looks approachable from the building looking at the map.

It was on the bridge / on top of overpass (zoom in). A lot of people missed it (me included)

I did zoom in but it still looks like a regular undercover area to me - no bridge evident. Perhaps the control descriptions would tell otherwise, which would be a good reason to not get rid of them (as many people in the CP description thread are arguing for).

The control description was "Bridge, east end". So there was a clue there. I think it should have used the "on top" symbol.

Yeah, I argued that you can't put a control on top of an overpass... It was on the control descriptions, so guess shows how many of us didn't look at them!

I don't look at CP descriptions in a sprint unless it's really unclear what or which side of a feature the control is on.
