Discussion: Maps look cool

I checked the website and saw the maps of the island - they look good and challenging - your result sounds like a Bear Grills experience (if you have seen his TV show).

I've only seen Bear on the packaging of survival knives and stuff like that, so if that's a good hint of what he does, yes, the course was daunting. The vegetation is approximately correct but there are some very dense areas of salal where it is hard to make progress. But it is a super enjoyable place to be so even though it was tough, we had a lot of fun.
