Only impassable if it's a solid blue fill with black bank lines. For some reason Jane Brook and the Swan River on this map had two different shades of blue but both had black bank lines. Pale blue with blue bank lines is fine and a tiny blue line as in CP 135 is definitely crossable.
Yeah, figured that was probably the case soon after committing to my route. Just had it in my head to find crossing for the water. Definitely lost a bit of time on that one, but Ceri said she went around as well, so possibly both of us a bit slow on that one.
Was your finish time out compared to your GPS?
Yep, 40 seconds shorter on the GPS. I imagine the start clock wasn't synched with the start brick, which causes problems if there are late starters. Hopefully there weren't any.
Ok. Yeah, doesn't matter if everyone is the same.
It does have an unbalanced effect on SOL points though, doesn't it (if anybody cares)
Thanks Fletch, didn't think of that. Let's see if the Tech Convenor - who set the event - will take it into consideration (I think longer times puts me at a disadvantage).
Yup. It sure does.
I see that the M14's had a ripper of a race, as well as having 7 entrants. Good to see.
Oh - and congrats on your win as well.
Ta, managed to upload splits to AP after deleting KB from the system. He was causing issues but had a DNF result so I'm not bothered with his deletion.
Doesn't seem to have made any difference tRicky, you still won the SOL points. :)
Well that's a shock. I just fired off an email anyway. Up to you as SOL program person whether you want to/can do anything with it. Just when we got through the brick synching issue after two events of mayhem too!
Looks as though Liam Phillips punched at the start so he probably should have been 5th rather than 1st.
Start times have been adjusted, fixing the first leg time and shafting Liam's placing just a tad... :)
Who's the lucky one that gets to tell him?
Are you volunteering Fletch?
Actually, I've told his Mum, so I guess it's her that gets to tell him. He still did pretty well. The M14s filled the top 6 positions on course 3, and Liam is a year and in some cases two years younger than the others. He also didn't have anyone else on the course at the same time.
