Discussion: reading the map

not sure how you managed that under the trees - it felt like night-O at times for me, unable to read the map in the trees, magnifier covered in rain drops and the map colours very, very dark and difficult to distinguish. Ahh well, a good way to add extra stress to a local event!

Yeah, there were times I wished I had a head torch. Luckily I didn't have the magnifier issue though.
