Now knowing the distance requirements better, I can try to skip more 69 type junk.
Great staging of each checkpoint by the way, with reflectors in triangle.
And for the powerline -- it seems in 2015 they cleared up the strip of green to the west of the powerline, which explains the trail and the wrong bearing. Maybe 50m or so, enough to miss the entrance through the white woods.
I concur with 68, we had the same issue.
There's also some issues with the trail east of Hankerd Rd on our way to 63. We tried to cut the corner from the road to the trail, but went thru a recent forest fire there, so not sure if we crossed the trail that's printed or were actually on it for a bit not realizing since so indistinct, but then we came to a definite trail and then a few minutes further down that a T intersection, which you can see we turned north at. So maybe the trail simply needs to be redrawn, perhaps it was re-routed after the fire or there is just an extra trail out there, not sure. But definitely threw us off, because we weren't sure which connector we were at. Finally figured it out after going north for a bit and realizing direction of the trail was wrong.
Also a little connector needs to be added near 34, there is a shortcut that runs NE from the trail to parking lot, which actually is a loop, not just an open area.
That area with the fire is usually off limits for controls so I have not been through those trails in a while, so there may be an extra trail in there.
The connector I think I added on the master map for Jess's meet in the spring but Jens may have been using an older version.
When I collect myself, I'll send my markup version with the bonus trails. Totally forgot to get that connector. I started with the map prior to Jess's and didn't think to check for updates.
On this track 3-4 is a trail we found...guessing others may have!
