We had two massive close by hits during the storm along with many others. These were of the flash-bang variety that explode next to you. No local damage has been noted though. I also saw a cloud to ground bolt perhaps a half mile away. Beautiful display.
Lucky you didn't lose your electronics. A few months ago we had a flash bang hit real close and it fried our tv, audio receiver and DVD player. We're grateful we didn't lose anything this time around.
