Discussion: Fundraising

For this event we are trying out a new way to finance map production in attractive terrain where it's just not economically viable to organise orienteering otherwise. The map will only be produced (and the small local event organised) if we meet our fundraising goal of 40 000 kr at kickstarter. After the event the map will be open and free for all to use (under normal land use regulations in Sweden, official permission only needed for major events).

The area is a unique piece of semi-alpine open forest with excellent runnability and intricate contour-detail. Gustav Bergman was quite ecstatic atfer a test-run on an autogenerated map last year.

We are already 63% towards our goal and with a little help from you we are quite confident to succeed before the July 31st deadline.
