So patterns have changed.

damn, so if I'm hearing more planes now, that's probably more plans forever?

When is your marathon? Good luck with the training!

Edit: Quebec City, 8/27; I searched your log.

Thanks Ian :)

Well it all depends on the winds. There is also better/different GPS that allows the planes to line up better. Not sure what rwys they're using, though; whatever I searched this morning was all avoiding your part of Newton.

Love hearing the sound of airplanes. Reminds me that the airport is only 15' away. Of course, ours' isn't as busy as Logan but certainly good enough for most trips.

George, I bet even you would have been annoyed at the constant take-offs at 11:15pm!

This morning was quiet, so maybe complaining made a difference :)

By 11:15 they are mostly shut down with just a few arrivals. Then they do start up about 6:00 for the holiday traffickers. I normally can roll over.

It's cute that y'all think living miles from an airport is close! (Just giving you a hard time. I didn't enjoy living next to a runway.)

Try living under one ;)

Not a lot of C130s in our neighborhood Cristina …

And the four fans of freedom are not the loud ones!

I'm not sure who would win a runway noise pissing contest between someone living next to the flightline vs someone living *under* it. The latter is probably half or a fourth as close to the engines but has some steel in the way. Neither has anything to do with airport noise from a large commercial hub. :-)
