Hi David, Overall, a very good JWOC. You avoided having any big mistakes, which over the course of 5 races at your first JWOC is exceptional. Fitness faded in the 2nd half of the week - that's something we can certainly work on for next year for sure. Of course, it is always a challenge to balance training, school work, Sage organizing/mapping, etc. Hope you have a smooth trip home.

Thanks alot Brian! I totally agree in that I felt like it was mostly my fitness that held me back, especially later in the week. I think I did a little bit too much in the training week, but mostly I didn't do enough earlier in the spring and winter. Later in the spring I don't think I did anywhere near enough speedwork either.

I would love to meet up with you sometime before you head out east to discuss training plans for the rest of the year into next year. Also, if you are interested and have the time, I wouldn't mind heading out to Revelstoke sometime this weekend or next week to the Mount MacPherson map to get some training in. I'm happy to through together some courses on the map if you want.
