I did this a couple years ago, and we ran most of the section between the trailheads, but that's a perfect rollerski as long as the shoulders are okay. The slide is fun! Finding the trail off the slide is interesting.

Too bad the Kanc doesn't have perfect pavement and no traffic, it would make a heck of a rollerski!

They've been repaving the west side. Looks heavenly, though they haven't painted lines yet. Bits and pieces of the east side were repaved, but lots of traffic and people driving really fast.

I really enjoyed the ridge trail between Whiteface and Passaconaway. And the sleeper trail was pretty great too, still squishy! I'm so used to those heavy-traffic trails, it was nice to be somewhere different.

Sleeper is always squishy. And barely anyone on it. I've taken to finding good trails with very little traffic. Davis Path is one, anything in the Wild River. Some trails with very little traffic are less squishy and more rivery or blowdowny, of course.

The east side of the Kanc *might* be rollerskiable downhill with new pavement. The West Side not so much. I've skied up it in fall, but on a weekday. Thumbed down.
