So how's the Innes versus Chad Spence battle going to be at COCs?

Ha!

Ya, looking forward to it. I think it's a pick'em...no clear cut favourite.

Was gaining some momentum training wise until this damn ankle thing. Painful right now. Can't walk on it.

Would a mixed ARK relay team beat a mixed OJOT relay team?

OJOT'ers have the best Canadian JWOC middle result (Gabor), and the second best long result (DD).

I trust you also won a banquet.

We were competitive at the banquets.

I imagine our % behind the winner was minimal.

The Finns are hard to beat.

Brutal, Mark; I hope you're back on your feet soon.

Thanks Ian.

You would've received a text from me for a Wednesday morning run if it hadn't happened.

I had a chat with Chad on Saturday and discussed the challenge and he smiled his great big smile and said it would be fun. I didn't mention Mark's injury but he probably didn't care since he is in great shape ;-)

The injury is shitty, but I won't make any excuses after racing.

A good tape job, Vitamin I and some Tylenol will give me a little piece of mind to attack the terrain.

...I'm more concerned about my orienteering. The compass is quite rusty. Yikes!!

What's an attack point again?

Isn't 'full speed, no mistakes' really just 'rough compass and head on a swivel'?? ;)

Probably best to amputate. You can't reinjure a ligament that you've removed.
