Discussion: scramble??

Does Aberdeen no longer involve any ice/glacier?

We scrambled up the climbers descent route. It is definitely what I would consider an easy scramble, but it was VERY steep in parts and has lots of shitty scree, and involves a kilometer of bushwhacking up Paradise Valley. I avoided 300 vertical meters of scree by kick-stepping up the lingering snow field in the broad gully and glissading back down (ice axe definitely recommended). A big scramble, but definitely worth it for the views up there.
