Tough age groups! It's good to see there are high numbers of participants in those "mature" age groups. You are all amazing. Great photos on FB.

O Steve!:
when you go to single sports events like this one you get to see where you really fit in on the food chain.....decent swimmers like me do are not in the same league as "real" swimmers......same with real "runners", "cyclist" "Mt bikers" "xc skiers" or in my recent history real "mountain runners"

Having said that, I am impressed by everyones time....really impressive. Julia was an unknown and swam like a rock star...she beat Ian which means she would have beaten me....(I have never been real close to beating Ian in this event)

How much did Julia swim to prep for this event?

and some old people can REALLY throw down in swimming....Animals with gray hair!....men and women!

I did not see the times. Good on Julia. The only thing I can beat Ian with is a stick ...although i did beat him at Wirth last month when he missed the first control :-)

Darryn and Steve... you guys can beat me anytime with a stick ... I always enjoy seeing your familiar faces at MNOC and other events . Last month'sWirth issue - i blame on Russian hacking , no fake news there ....
