Discussion: Course 2 still had the same...

Course 2 still had the same second to last control so that experience would have been similar. Bit too bingo for in the dark. I miss the reflective tape we used to put on night controls!

Reflective tape would have helped for the rest of the course, but I'm not sure it would have been much use for the 2nd last. Maybe I should wear my disco jacket next year to freak people out?

Tape makes short technical legs too easy. More suited to rogaines with useless maps. Tentative plan next year is to hold this event at the start of our season proper, after daylight savings ends. Hope that it will attract more people.

I remember experimenting with how much tape was right to not make it too obvious, mostly on Sat the features were enough to make the controls ok without it.

I didn't see any advertising for the event, just that it was listed in eventor (and only that last week) so more of that might attract more people.

People like me, if there is a good Sunday event...
