It's so cool that you continue to work on your 100m time and know how to keep good form.
I'm also impressed you were able to find a solution to your dilemma; I can so easily imagine an official being stubborn about things, so kudos to everyone for keeping cool and compromising.
Moving a schedule forward is a mortal sin; especially at a meet that people are traveling to. I'm pretty sure I would have said some things that would have ruined any chance for a solution. Good job keeping cool (or, at least, cool enough that you could negotiate).
Oh this would have really made me mad! Great that they were willing to let you run, and count your result in your class.
Sandy: thanks. It's cool that you climb Mt Kilimanjaro, and others run marathons. We're all awesome.
Sandy, Eric and Peggy: thanks for agreeing with me that moving the time up was not a good move. I can't say I was entirely cool the whole time, not sure how brusque I was when I first approached the director. Can't remember exactly what I said, but I know I had already done all my cursing to myself, in my head :)
