Mine got bad enough that I persisted and got the comcast guy to come out. He replaced some of the outdoor cables which seems to have sparked things up a bit.

I've got DSL, which may be hopeless these days, but a call to Verizon is on the to-do list. Seems to be worst in the evening, presumably when people are using Netflix.
