Discussion: OOB

Hi, Was the dual carriageway through the middle of the map not marked as OOB? (I wondered if that was missing from the Routegadget version.) Not that you'd want to run across it!

Yeah, the dual carriageway and some (but not all) of the roads leading onto it were OOB. That makes it hard to judge some of the routes on routegadget. In particular from #9 to #10. I think Richard Barrett's route was quickest, but there were at least 3 viable variants. It was a good leg.

That figures, thanks. I saw on the previous event that people took some circuitous routes to avoid it and figured that it must've been purple hashed, but just not copied across to Routegadget http://www.sn.routegadget.co.uk/rg2/#62
