When I wrote that, I was feeling weak and I was heading to shop at the farm market that keeps buttertarts right beside the cash. The feeling of imaginary peer pressure worked and I did not succumb. For a change.
Don't buttertarts and the likes provide you with the energy levels needed for a tough mountain race?
Fair enough! At our little eclipse gathering on Monday at work, we had chocolate chocolate chip cookies "eclipse" cookies one might say. I think I would have eaten ten of them if I hadn't reminded myself that 10 cookies won't make me faster at WT. Three is a good limit, right? ;)
For an eclipse, you do need three. It will be 7 years until the next time, after all! (For lunar eclipses, it's only two cookies.)
No butter tarts for me too. But that makes me serious 52 weeks a year.
You've always been the better athlete!
