Discussion: Sandwich for dinner?

I just want to know which of my colleagues is moonlighting as Utopia's scriptwriting consultant.

It is precisely written - as was Grass Roots which I could directly relate to. Reality
tv unfortunately - but not as you know it. People still laugh and guffaw but if only they knew.

It's certainly helping me come to terms with the way things are going in SA Govt/Health/Pharmacy...

Grass roots was on when I worked in local government, and now Utopia when I work in central State government. Both cut extremely close to the bone!

Although I am a bit surprised there's a shortage of sandwiches in the public service (or is DSE's reputation as Department of Sandwich Eaters atypical?)!

I just looked up Grass Roots since I didn't watch it when it was around and noticed it was set around a fictional council called Arcadia Waters. That name just so happens to be the retirement village where a certain powerpole and I had an altercation last month, meaning it's not so fictional to me!
