Are some events so geared towards just getting punters to shell out that they don't think about getting CPs out just in case a decent runner might show up?

Thanks. I had thought about the 100k day and also the 100mile week but neither was happening.

It didn't seem geared towards elite competition that much. Didn't help I went off way too quickly though. Helped to keep an OMM+Ultra unbeaten streak though. Ought to do elite at some point though.

Even Fellbaum is doing elite this year ;)
