| 'Bent: | Glad nobody bagged you.
I always thought an AR standard should be Blaze Orange jerseys to repel the hunters. We know of more than a few close calls with hunters and racers. Bash almost ended up on a wall plaque once. Phatty explained that the sponsor's logos wouldn't show up well on the orange, so for froo-froo reasons they are other colours. |

| Leanimal: | Yeah it's all about the sponsors...am I the only one who thinks that having everyone survive the event seems more important! |

| FB: | Last year about this time I was crashing through the bush on a run (Simcoe County Forest) and huffing and puffing pretty hard when I spotted a bow hunter in full camo... just to be sure he saw me ('cause he was still and I assumed in tune with his environment) I made some extra 'non-animal' noises... he turned and leveled his bow at me from about 15 meters... I was torn between punching him in the throat and s#@tting my pants... I think I set a land speed record over the next mile, all the while wondering if he was a very bad hunter or a psycho who was going to put one through my back
be careful out there... especially this time o' year!! |

| Bash: | I had a bow pointed at me on the first day of moose season in the last RTN Champs in Quebec. At the recent FAC Fall Classic, some hunters shot into the woods beside us while we were biking around the bend from where their pick-up truck was driving. (That's right - driving!) I'm not anti-hunting, but I am anti-bad-hunter! |
