The wonders of technology, where you can either be a hero and brag to your mates afterwards about how you blew everyone away or else self destruct, fade into anonymity and disappear with no-one having a clue who you were or facing repercussions from the other riders. Also if you do hit the wall when trying to break the group, it's not like you have to ride home afterwards on wrecked legs!

I'd never thought about your very last point, but I think it's extremely valid - there's something about being able to give your all as you know food and shower are within 30s if necessary!

How much does the whole setup cost? I expect more than my current annual income! It might save me from hitting poles in the future.

Are you saying you hold something back for the ride home, Tooms? I'm...kinda disappointed.

A good windtrainer that has connection with computer for realistic loading on rear wheel will range from $800 to $2000 depending on what you want/need and are willing to pay.

At this stage my cost vs benefit vs income ratio is looking a little shabby. Maybe I can get the ADF to sponsor my rehabilitation.
