Were you at your fittest, or did you just feel really fit and relaxed about it ?
Knowing you've done a good winter and with no stress about major races then psychologically you feel confident, relaxed and fit.
When the races come we start to fret a bit and worry about fitness and that affects how we feel to some extent.
If you've not done the same session since then - there's no objective measure to say you were at your best physically in March
Fact is you did great at WOC, that's the best measure, keep it in mind
