fletch: Wish I could cruise that fast - or go that fast flat out for that matter... I've only cracked 1:30 for a 100m once.

Tooms: 1:30 for a hundred puts you in the category of "people who don't swim but if they did they would be good swimmers" people like Mufti for example, who I remember in Adelaide many moons ago swimming 1:27 for a hundred...

Craig: I think I may have even cracked 1:20 once in a 25m pool, 2:59 for the 200, 6:11 for 400 and 16:25 for 1km. Still used to be last out of the water in triathlons when swimming those times though.

fletch: 25m pool doesn't really help me coz I can't tumbleturn...

Craig: Neither can I but the push off gets me back on top of the water and going a decent speed that I can almost hold for 25m. I think my best 100 was actually 1:22.

Tooms: And 1:22 is a damn good time! The challenge is maintaining that - I can't maintain 1:22 pace for 200m at the moment, so that puts it into perspective, given that I feel I'm swimming well-ish at the moment!
