A stalwart on Ontario's autumn orienteering calendar - this year's Turkey Trot will be held on Sunday, September 24th in the Guelph/Cambridge area.
Two events on one day of racing!
The morning event - organized by the Toronto Orienteering Club - will be held at Dryden Tract, just southwest of Cambridge. This race is a classic middle, with 4 category offerings: beginner, intermediate, short advanced, long advanced.
For the short and long advanced, there will be a highly recommended 'no trails' option. Dare to get lost within the hummocky, surprisingly hilly terrain!

The afternoon event - organized by the Ukrainian Orienteering Club - will be held at Little Tract, just northeast of Cambridge. This race is an old school short event, with the same category offerings.
With similar topography to Dryden Tract, but surrounded by marshland, this map hasn't been used in 20 or so years. Give it a go on its welcome back!
