I'm so sorry to hear that you got Lyme. And, am glad that Boris recognized the symptoms and that you got antibiotics. Did you see the tick?

I don't have any advice/experience to offer. But, just wanted to send big hugs and warm thoughts.

Hope you got the recommended three weeks' worth of antibiotics to really knock 'em down. I felt better after a few days on the medicine (diagnosed two weeks after suspected bite), but I wasn't tending to a baby at the time.

Take it easy and recover! And ease back into training. We'll be here when you're fully recovered.

Jon's brother had Lyme from hiking the AT some years ago. It did not sound pleasant, so big hugs and I hope you recover as swiftly as possible. One thought from some other stuff I've been reading about gut health - might be worth looking at what antibiotics can do to some of the good bacteria in your body and what you can do to kick-start their recovery.

Yogurt may or may not help. :-)

Time off from training, or dropping it down a notch (walking) can be worthwhile.

Damn. Hugs. Smile often regardless. Best wishes!

Also, please feel totally ok with giving yourself the rest you need. It is not lazy to take care of your body. Don't feel guilty about it. Just take care of yourself.
