Are nearly always ok, but there's still the 'what if'...we had an M75 on Sat night who stubbornly wanted to finish his course even after some of us went out and located him - he gave up in the end though. At least this year, with our conditions of use for this particular national park precluding alcohol, we didn't have organisers who were too full of port to do a proper search if necessary!
Did this guy realise that there are volunteers waiting around for him to finish and/or control collecting and that they might want to go home too?
I'm sure he would have like to go home too but he was badly lost. He was very relieved to find Yarra Rd (with a sign on the junction) up near Mt Billy. Dave ended up finding him on the road and bringing him back in his car just as we were setting out on a search. He had seen some trailbikers earlier on a smaller track and tried to wave them down but they didn't stop for him.
I meant the M75. I understand if people get lost that's it's not typically their fault making people wait.
His anxious wife was waiting for him...
