ebuckley: Actually, while the name is Appalacian, the Pepsi version of Mountain Dew comes from St. Louis. I met the inventor by chance in a cafe about a year ago.

jjcote: Which isn't surprising, since the Blue Ridge isn't exactly a prime spot for growing lemons and limes.... not that it's made from real lemons and limes anyway...

Torino: Uhh, I read "finest chocolate" ... and it MUST be a Torino!

Swampfox: Torino, it was delicious, even better than I expected and I already knew it would be really, really good. Thanks so much!

jjcote: Dude, it's really much better when followed by a cold glass of whole milk.

Swampfox: To each their own. (And if someone likes milk and meat and has never seen a dairy operation or a stockyard up close and personal, well, they might think twice before going to see firsthand how it all gets done. Nevermind visiting a slaughterhouse.)

jjcote: I've milked a cow!

ebuckley: I've worked my grandfather's dairy farm and my uncle's cattle farm. I don't drink milk and eat very little beef, but that's not really out of distaste for the operations; I just prefer other foods. Like Ice Cream.
