I noticed you run in a fairly minimal shoe - you must have tough feet...but they are very popular w some runners who also run very minimal shoes. Not sure there are any conclusions to be drawn, other than choice of shoes is a very individual thing.

I'm on my 6th pair of Hokas (Cliftons...soft and light) and have to say that after years of going the minimalist route, these shoes have saved my "career."
I've had a lot of plantar, hip bursitis, etc. issues these last 8 years. Now I'm never in pain!
Also, I'm a flat/forefoot striker.

shoe = mystery... what version do you have? read that C1 was light, and kept getting heavier to 4.
