great session and i'm liking the more positive super

one piece of advice is to sign up for an epic 50-80km trail race next year instead. less need to train on roads, less way to compare race day performance to a specific time; more about climbing and descent tactics. prettier race course. Of course this advice is coming from a person that does not understand the excitement people get from road running. Growing up running the DV trails will do that. I hear it looks like Denmark in there eh!

Good luck Wes!

Thanks Mike. Part of the motivation is that if I manage a decent time I can avoid doing another one in may. Then I can spend a year and a half training and racing in a much more fun and appropriate way and try running Boston fit and prepared.

It is not the food but the beer they put in your hand a minute after you passed the finish line that's the highlight.
