great session and i'm liking the more positive super
one piece of advice is to sign up for an epic 50-80km trail race next year instead. less need to train on roads, less way to compare race day performance to a specific time; more about climbing and descent tactics. prettier race course. Of course this advice is coming from a person that does not understand the excitement people get from road running. Growing up running the DV trails will do that. I hear it looks like Denmark in there eh!
Good luck Wes!
Thanks Mike. Part of the motivation is that if I manage a decent time I can avoid doing another one in may. Then I can spend a year and a half training and racing in a much more fun and appropriate way and try running Boston fit and prepared.
Good luck man, enjoy the post race food, also the actual race. Congrats on the training to get there.
IMHO Wes IS fit and prepared.
It is not the food but the beer they put in your hand a minute after you passed the finish line that's the highlight.
good on you to get all the training in, supe - that is why you are supe! rest for the week, nail that chicago, then come back to some fall hottage SMTs - we miss you!!!!!!
You've changed so much Super.
Actually, no, that sounds pretty consistent.
