Certainly a different style in tracking. I usually appreciate where we go on AP via the gpx file. Maybe you should be tracking an evening race on the lake:-)

I could do that. Season's over though. Boat came out of the water today. Safe and sound on a steel cradle for the winter. We tried a spinnaker for the first time this year with limited success but with much gain of knowledge. Frostbite season starts Sunday but vacation and O events will be a conflict.

A long season if it starts in October...thru April? But take off Jan & Feb, of course:-).

Yes, I overlooked the fresh water aspect. The frost bite I knew was on Long Island Sound &, I believe, ice-free water was available most of the winter. But it must have been as opportunity presented. In an IC dinghy, kids were movable ballast. What did I know but that we played upstairs in the grand old Larchmont YC clubhouse after while the skippers went to the bar.
