Good. I have a lot of liking and respect for my physics PhD advisor.

My relationship with the advisor with whom I did the second half of my first (biology) PhD was also good, in a way that is complementary to the way my relationship with my second (physics) PhD advisor is good.

Specifically, my biology PhD advisor (the gentleman I did the second half of my biology PhD with) was a good advisor for me all around, even though I do not love the science that he and I were doing.

On the other hand, I love the science that I am doing with my physics PhD advisor, even though outside the lab I have to be entirely self-guided in my PhD studies.
