Actually, I am a bit surprised. Not because I don't think you're capable; I've raced with you far too many times to doubt that (the final hour at the Devil's Challenge will always be something I remember when I think something can't be done). Rather, I really wasn't sure if you were all in. It's one thing to do the right workouts and say the right things. It's a whole 'nuther thing to really be there on race day. Welcome back (sadly, just as I'm checking out).

What are B-roads?

Thanks all! B-roads are minimally maintained dirt roads (truly dirt - no gravel). When it rains, they turn into giant swaths of impassible mud.

ebuckley - I totally get what you mean about being all in. I think I was there mentally and the crap conditions definitely played to my strengths. Thanks for loaning me your way-back machine! :)
