Discussion: Star Tracks - Camping Sat. night?

This year racers may choose to arrive this Saturday evening to camp at Albion Hills before racing Star Tracks on Sunday morning. We'll provide the first bag of marshmallows for riders to toast as they socialize around the campfire.
The Stars will offer some low key navigation training races on foot - but only if at least 12 people sign up. If you're planning to come Sat. evening, be sure to pre-register for the training races soon so Nick will know whether they're worth setting up. The registration is separate from the bike race and you'll just pay at the event. See the link near the top of the Star Tracks web page. Remember that you'll need a headlamp since one of the races will take place after dark.
Camping is arranged directly with Albion Hills. Other participants are booking sites in the Deer Run section of the campground. Funderstormin' will be the Stars campground host at site 111. There are currently lots of sites available nearby; you can book online here.

Update: The Sat. evening training races have been cancelled due to low registrations but some mountain bike racers are still planning to camp near site 111 and the Stars will provide their first bags of marshmallows and firewood.

Come out and try to beat our seemingly invincible defending champion, Wokitoki! Or bring your kid and try to beat our Family Category champs, the Gallys. :)
