Discussion: Crossing points

Nice balanced review. Much more so than my rant, but we were one of the few (of the teams around us at least) who majorly lost out by using crossing points. I agree that the issues would have been easy to avoid with clearer maps, but sub-standard maps and control placement seems to be standard for the FRAs, and that is part of the race. The final details have to have the final word on race info (above the map, as that will already have been printed), and in this respect they didn't appear to be clear enough.
