Have you dressed/protected them to lessen chances of worsening/infection? I always thought twisting something whilst stepping off a kerb would be the most frustrating injury to block training, but something as simple as overuse blisters would top it.

Losening shoes off to ease pressure can result in rub issues elsewhere - this is how I rubbed the end of my toe off at the OMM.

Didn't Schorah manage to injure himself for a few days stepping off a curb?

Thanks for the advice Nic. Keeping on top of it with anti septics and compeed so hope it's all ok. I did run Tuesdays session with my toe stuck through a hole in my sock so I have only got myself to blame really!

I mean Steve Birkenshaw got around 20h a day for 6.5 days with mega blisters, but pushing through the pain to finish and wanting to get good solid training in is a different matter.

If it gets worse it may be prudent to 'invest' a few days recovery now to mitigate against the chance of a longer spell out later.

No pain this evening so I think the storm has passed. Just hope I don't have trench foot from walking around all day in the rain now!
