Discussion: I didn’t read it as #1

But merely as 4 points on an a schematic diagram. I hope you’re not disappointed, but I think each of the 4 might be considered #1 in a particular way. Sort of a paradigm. Interesting what it may say about me. If everyone read your log as faithfully as I do, you would certainly be challenging PG for AP eminence. I can’t say that I have ever read the logs of the other three paradigms, although I have encountered them in various discussion threads, and haven’t seen anything from them that makes me eager for more. Rather the contrary.

Well eddie's posts on the Hubble are some of the best on a/p. And tRicky reminds me of some guys I knew when I lived and worked in Australia. yurets voices thoughts I'm sure many immigrants have about the US, but are too diplomatic to say. I appreciate his candor, being married to an immigrant.

So I enjoy them all. And you're right, I'm only #1 by the fact that I'm the first, and most often, mentioned in the list. My whole reaction was supposed to be a bit of tongue-in-cheek. Like becks a couple of months ago, I have no clue why I inspire such animosity from these folks. But thanks for your kind words. Nice to have a few friends on a/p. It is an amazing community, and usually free of personal attacks and F-bombs:
