That's my kind of conference, the kind where you can go off for a 2 hour and 40 minute mountain run in the middle of the day.
To be fair, the talks didn't start until 1pm :). But a ski coaching conference means lots of fit people who want to go play outside together, so best to not miss those opportunities.
George, there was some snow left in patches on the north-facing slopes, but mostly gone. Chilly, for someone used to the unusually warm fall we're having back east.
My son lives in the SLC valley at the foot of the canyon going to Alta. They can see the gondola at Snowbird. Had reported snow down to the foothills a week or so ago but mostly gone except the high levels. Sounds like the same on that side.
