Hi Jethro, thanks but I don't think so! You have 4959 points and I have 4926. I don't understand how the points work as my best run of the SOL Series at Forvie didn't score as well as other races where I was well beaten.

Me neither. Last year I won 4 Brown SOL courses and was only 2nd overall on Brown. This year I've been injured most of the year and only won 1 course, but appear to have won overall.

It's the 'old' 6 day scoring system I believe.

I suppose its approximately accurate in that you get more points for one race if you beat someone but as for comparing between races, forget it!

Pleased to see I'm not the only one who doesn't understand the SOL Ranking Points. Much the same with the BO Rankings - my best races this year were the two days of proper orienteering at the JK, and Days 4, 5 and 6 of the 6-Days, but none of them gave me any sufficient ranking points to make my top 6 scores.
