If you want a hilly marathon I can give you a recommendation...

I'm generally of the opinion that when I (rarely) run on the roads I am going for as flat and fast as possible. I already get my fill of gnarr the proper way so will be aiming for a time, as such trail/hilly marathons etc. generally hold no interest. I'm planning on Manchester, but need to look at races in the run up (10km/miles and a couple of halfs, maybe a 20) that I can fit around a few other bits and pieces.

The plan is to generally train at 'marathon pace' on the roads in the week, and keep up some fell running on weekends for strength purpose (although I dare say Ladybower will be visited a bit)

I can send you over a list of possible races if you let me know your email address.
