Well enough, I guess. Somehow her colon was twisted and it is now unkinked and she had her spleen removed because of a mass on it. But otherwise ok, and we should get her back later today. Thanks.

Wow...sorry to hear that, and hope she's back up and perky again soon. Such a sweet dog.

Rhonda is visiting her now, likely will be able to pick her up later this afternoon.

When I read your description of what had happened, my first thought was volvulus. I hope she is and will be fine from here.

Wishing Sassy a speedy recovery! How are you going to run without her getting under your feet?

Good news she is home, hoping for a full recovery

Alas, not home yet. We went to visit and she was pretty doped up, not eating yet and pretty uncomfortable. Hoping she will be better tomorrow.

Home now. Looks much better, but pretty subdued. Has to wear the dreaded cone, which makes her feel a bit foolish.

Swampfox:
You did opt for the cone which is printed with: "At least I'm not a cat!", right?

Moe the cat is snickering mightily at the spectacle.
