I lost three 305s, two while competing and one, to my great surprise, thru a hole in a dock - about an exact fit, plop! After that, I used a lanyard, watch to wrist, for reassurance that I'd return with it, even if dangling. And thus fewer $125-250 "holes" in the mentality. And hx forgotten, hx repeated: the current 310X has no lanyard :-).

I picked up a Garmin 235 on Craigslist in Oak Park the day after. $180, but’s a cool upgrade from the 225 and maybe 150 cheaper than New. Much lighter and lots of bells and whistles. But the heart rate readout Much better than the lost one. Timing was actually everything, I was bidding some on eBay or New were my options. So I’m a happy camper now and as I figure it out more.
But, too bad about the 310.

Well I still am using your Casio you gave me for my 70th birthday. So if you want it back let me know.

Meanwhile here's another sport they've invented out in San Francisco...kinda like skiing on pavement!
