Sandy: We hope to have Route Gadget up and running tonight some time for these courses. You should definitely enter your routes and make your dad enter his. Then you can run the animation of the both of you running and you can see where he got you - was it just overall speed or certain controls - and it will be easy to compare routes as well.

Acampbell: I will definitely try and put my route up! there is a link to Route Gadget on DVOA's website right? as i think i have only used Route Gadget once or twice. And yes it will be fun to see the two of our routes!! And i'm not sure if it was over all speed or curtain controls. it will be interesting to find out!

Sandy: On the DVOA homepage there is a link to RouteGadget. Once there, click on the event. Let me know if you have trouble figuring out how to use it. You have to select your course and then your name from the list in the top window and then you enter your course.

Acampbell: OK so my route is up now i'll have to bug dad to put his up! how do you use the animation though? i can't seam to be able to get it to play mine and tracy's (she is the only other person with her route up)

Sandy: Click on the names of the people you want to watch so they're highlighted and then click the animation button.

Acampbell: How do you get more than one person highlighted? As right now i can highlight me or i can highlight everyone in between me and Tracy but not just Tracy, ed and i. or is that not possible?

Sandy: Hmm...not sure. I just click on each name and it stays lit. Are you using a Mac? Maybe that's the problem.

Acampbell: I am using a Mac. I bet that is it. Silly Macs not working with some programs
