make using the turbo trainer bearable
and if you're going to do intervals, do short, very high intensity ones with minimal recovery. it'll hurt, but you won't be bored :-)
I agree - short intervals, but just remember to place lots of towels on the floor around the bike (to soak up the sweat).
told you, get a decent jacket, be outside
Dont mind the cold: dont like the dark & gotta work in the daytime :(
So much so that you couldn't get out and ride for 22 minutes in your lunch hour... or 45 minutes ... or an hour ?
2 x 10 minutes thats 2 x across Braids Hill Drive and back
(today I did 2 x (2 x ( across BHD and back) it was good.)
