Never been in that area but always been keen to explore it. Is there some less known track that would get you from Mona Vale rd to Wakehurst pwy? Thinking of some less traditional run like Roseville - Middle Harbour - Garigal - Oxford Falls - Narrabeen - 4 Pines.

Yes, it is possible to get thru' on some cool tracks but not obvious. Took me a couple of failed attempts to do just that to work it out, as the tracks weren't mapped (and the entrances are hidden)....And then Strava came along.

Andy & I ran from Berowra to Manly once via Terry Hills and then Oxford Falls. We were going to swim across the river at the bottom of the Sphinx stairs at Bobbin Head, but a canoe turned up at exactly the right time. If you do it on Saturdays you can factor in a sausage from Bunnings on the way thru.

Can do better than the Forest Way / Morgan Rd section we did that time. Have since found the track that heads in to the bush across the road from Bunnings.

Didn't Andy once stop for a mid-run sausage in middle head?

The mid-run sausage at Middle Head? I’ll leave you to it.
