Discussion: Winds

Monday morning was the windiest I've experienced at our house. My office is on the top floor, and I have a good view of the tops of our neighbors' trees. Seeing only the tops exaggerates the windiness.

All of the remaining unripened tomatoes from our deck's garden were blown off and were rolling around the deck all day, too!

did you lose power at all? Ethan said he saw a transformer blow up on phinney ridge and then the lights in the neighborhood around all went out. also heard from friends in Capitol Hill and Columbia City who were out of power for several hours!

happily the houseboat didn’t blow away or over! :O

We lost power in the afternoon, yes.

definitely will get a’rockin’ at times due to wind or a rogue police boat speeding by! busy boating times like July fourth or seafair can also cause a lot of motion. I haven’t gotten super seasick tho :)
