Could be one of many around here, although it was actually Chamberlain Ave which I used to drive down most nights but now it's always Main South Rd :(
Jacarandas were fantastic in Sydney last weekend, especially when seen from a harbour ferry (or the air, as Geoff said because he flew in daylight).

Weird, Tash was just commenting on the jacaranda trees we drove past today and I said they were a pain when they dropped all the flowers in the front yard (we had one at the house I lived in for the first 32 years of my life and I'm pretty sure it was there for all of that).

I love jacaranda trees! We used to have one in our backyard and it was sometimes as if it was raining purple. Only downside was the bees.
